Basic Information
Welcome to the Hud-Son Forest Equipment catalog and the Hud-Son Forest Equipment family. We became Hud-Son Forest Equipment in 2003, although we are not a new company. The company was started as a "Ma and Pa" shop back in 1965, known as Dan Hudon Sales, INC. "The Woodcutter's Headquarters" as a chainsaw and forest equipment dealer and service shop. Over the years the company grew as distributors and wholesalers of many forest related products and equipment on a wide range of chainsaws, logging tools, winches, selling band saws, and circle sawmills starts back in the early 70's. As demand grew so did the company. In the 90's the evolution into the development of the Hud-Son sawmill took place which led to manufactoring. Later on wood splitters and wood processors came along. Hud-Son is now a worldwide distributor of Hud-Son portable sawmills, wood processors, log skidding winches.
